Women of Note: Part 4 (Royals Cont'd)

We've finally reached the end of the rope for sure, because there is another series coming up soon. We left off with our royal princesses/queen, and today we will finish with, perhaps, the world's favorite princess and duchess. Can you guess who I am talking about?

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge
2011s favorite fairytale. Since her engagement to Prince William, Kate Middleton has been praised for her amazing sense of style. I think we can agree.
The Duchess of Cambridge running errands looking casual, but chic. This is what I want to look like while on the go :)

Lady Catherine in a white a dress suit wearing one of her signature hats. I really like this outfit because it is simple yet very elegant.
Now we have the Duchess in a black outfit looking very pretty. She accessorized with a deep plum color and the eternal hat.
I fell in love with the color of her jacket, and the pattern. Even though her attire is very sophisticated, I like the playfulness of her hat.

Pink seems to be very popular amongst the royal ladies. Lady Catherine in a gorgeous gown by Jenny Packham. Everything about this dress I love: the color, embellishment, the cut, everything.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge all smiles with husband, Prince William, on their special day. Her dress was designed by Sarah Burton,  creative director for Alexander McQueen. The dress fit Lady Catherine like a glove, absolutely stunning.

Princess Diana of Wales
Last, but most certainly not least, Princess Diana of Wales. I believe Princess Diana set the fashion bar for all following lady royals in not only England, but the world. High collar, pearl embellished, and by far my favorite tiara.

Perfectly preppy. Princess Diana's casual style was all preppy, and she wore it very well.

I couldn't leave out a picture of her in pink :)

This look is feminine and cool at the same time. Very unexpected. And of course she wears one of her signature hats, a statement Lady Catherine chose, as well.
Mellow Yellow

Pretty ruffles, a cool print, and a lovely blue. Princess Diana never seemed to go out without her pearls.
I think even today any girl would wear this dress. I really like the single long sleeve, the scrunched bodice, and the color.

Princess Diana never failed to look elegant and classy.

On her wedding day to Prince Charles. Princess Diana looked beautiful in her gown designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel. Some people may think her dress was over the top, but I think she truly looked like a fairytale princess.

So, there you have it. These women represent everything a lady should be: elegance, poise and class. And, of course, a great sense of style. Thanks for stopping by!

Women of Note: Part 3 (Royals)

Hello again! Today is part three of the Women of Note series and I'm very excited because it's all about my favorite princesses/queen. I think every girl at some point has dreamed of being a princess, if you haven't you're probably wondering now :) I know I did until I grew up and realized all the politics involved. What were the chances of me meeting a real prince?!

Even though I didn't get a prince, the following ladies definitely got theirs. What I can have is their amazing royal style :) You'll see pretty pastels, chic hats, and sparkling confidence. After all, that's what counts :)

Queen Rania of Jordan
I chose this image of Queen Rania simply because she looks so regal and confident. She has a lovely profile, the embellished top is beautiful, and that tiara is amazing!

I really like this casual outfit because she still looks rather dressed up. The baby blue peasant top is very flattering and the powdery yellow skirt looks great because it defines her waist. And I love her hair.

This look is adorable. Again my affinity for bows and flared tops (like Charlotte York's.) I love how effortless the look is.

Queen Rania, in a pink laced floor length skirt and a collared blouse, looks elegant and very pretty.

Smiling and waving in a gorgeous gown. It looks like a sort of silvery white with sparkling jewels around her neck and shoulders. This makes me feel guilty for those rainy days I went out looking like a crazy bag lady (well, it wasn't that bad.)

I will not leave out these ladies' special day! Queen Rania in her beautiful gown by designer Elie Saab looking radiant on her wedding day to King Abdulla II of Jordan.

Princess Letizia of Spain
Before becoming Princess of Spain, Princess Letizia was a journalist in both Mexico and Spain. Brains and beauty are a definite yes for this princess. (I must say, though, that the same can be said about our previous royal.)
Looking preppy and nautical, Princess Letizia with her adorable little girl in hand.

I love, love, love this look. It's dressy without being over the top. The choice of colors is great and I really like that one shoulder top. Very feminine.

What is a princess without her sparkle? Princess Letizia looking chic in opaque tights, a feminine skirt and sequin cardigan. And not a hair out of place :)

Pretty in Pink

Princess Letizia with husband Prince Felipe of Spain looking poised and elegant in this nude flowered gown.

Just Married. Princess Letizia with Prince Felipe glowing in her beautiful gown by designer Manuel Pertegaz.

Well, as much as we might envy these ladies we can't help but love their great sense of style. And although we're inspired by their fashion choices, let's not forget about the things they do for their countries and what they represent.

Also, to not overwhelm this post with any more images of the remaining two princesses, there will be a part four to this series (which will be up tomorrow.) I promise it will be the last one. Thanks for stopping by!
